Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is a “Cool Kid”?
At The Hull Firm, we proudly refer to children with disabilities as “Cool Kids.” For too long, we’ve heard children with IEPs or other special needs discussed in negative or limiting ways. We don’t believe in labels that diminish their potential. Instead, we celebrate their uniqueness and strengths. To us, these kids are nothing short of amazing—and super cool. That’s why we champion their rights with unwavering dedication and respect.
Why do you call yourself the Cool Kid’s Advocate?
I call myself the Cool Kid’s Advocate because I am passionate about championing the rights of children with disabilities, whom I proudly refer to as “Cool Kids.” Too often, these children are misunderstood or underestimated. I refuse to let labels or stereotypes define them. To me, they are extraordinary, resilient, and inspiring. My mission is to ensure they have the support, accommodations, and respect they deserve to thrive in their educational journeys—and beyond. Being their advocate is both my calling and my privilege.
I don’t live in Georgia. Can Attorney Hull help me with my case?
Yes! Whether as an attorney or an advocate, we can assist you. We provide representation nationwide and on U.S. Military Bases. We can work with you virtually or in person—just give us a call to discuss your specific needs.
I don’t want to disrupt my relationship with the school because my children have to continue going there. Will hiring an attorney damage that relationship?
We understand the importance of maintaining a positive relationship with your child’s school. Our goal is to advocate for your child while being mindful of this delicate dynamic. We work to ensure that your child’s rights are protected in a way that fosters collaboration rather than conflict.
When should I make the decision to hire an attorney?
As soon as you feel uneasy about your child’s situation, reach out for a free discovery call. We’ll listen to your concerns and help determine whether your case is ready for legal action. If it’s not, we can provide you with resources to address the issue. If it is, we’ll schedule a consultation to review your concerns in detail and advise you on your next steps.
How much do your services cost?
Our approach to each case is as unique as your child. For this reason, we do not provide flat fees or standard quotes. Once we understand the specifics of your case, we’ll discuss the financial commitment required.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do. If our firm accepts your case, you’ll have two options:
- Pay your retainer in full for a discount.
- Make an initial payment and set up a payment plan with our office.
Feel free to contact us if you have additional questions or would like to schedule a free discovery call. We’re here to help!
